Six Emmys.
Fifty years of
Days of our Lives.
One piano.
Ken Corday has been the executive producer and composer of Days of our Lives since 1977 — the voice behind a theme song four generations of viewers know by heart. Long before that, he was an eight-year-old taught at Juilliard, a drummer touring the Southwest, and a jazz student at UCSC.
For three nights this November he steps out from behind the show and plays his own work: a new collection of original contemporary American piano compositions, performed in a 110-seat room. No lyrics. No orchestra. Songs without words.
